In this new role, you will be responsible for the optimization of business processes within the department. These consists of the processing of received sales orders (EU & export), coordination with customers about deliveries, administration and the organization of transport.

Your team of five Logistics & Customer Support Officers is a group of experienced professionals. The department is developing and demands sometimes to act swiftly in order to guarantee customer satisfaction. It also demands to take action and responsibility to implement structural improvements and further professionalization. We also ask you to develop a department policy in alignment with the CSK strategy, changing legislation, regulation and strengthen the market- and customer orientation.

You will be providing various (administrative, management and ad hoc) reports and analyze these reports. Furthermore, the aim is to prevent complaints and deviations in orders within your scope as much as possible and if they occur, you are responsible to solve them properly.

Within the Supply Chain department, you work closely with Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse and the colleagues from our location in Poland. You will also cooperate with the Supply Chain Controller and our Marketing & Sales department.

Furthermore, we ask you to lead various projects, such as obtaining and retaining the AEO certificate, further implementation of Continuous Improvement and implementation and assurance of safety and quality systems.

You will be responsible for the order handling (including the administration and the organization of the transport) of one or two geographical areas. You report to the Manager Supply Chain.

Engaged, reliable and competent. You have proven, with your enthusiasm and drive, that you are able to engage your team to perform at their best. Improving processes is your second nature. You know how to keep an overview, even when moments are hectic. You can be persuasive and your responsibility and analytical skills have been developed above average.

Your profile

You have a Bachelor in e.g. Logistics Management, Business Administration, Commercial Economics or Management Economics and Law (MER). You have knowledge of, and experience with export and customs.

  • experience in leading a team is a plus
  • experienced in Continuous Improvement techniques
  • excellent written and oral skills of the Dutch and English language, preferably speaking and writing a third foreign language (French/German)
